Project description
The Straila Sports team was manually collecting football results from different websites and feeds, comparing conflicting scores, cleaning team and competition names, updating magazine templates, and writing individual match-result articles. The process was repetitive and made rapid post-match publishing difficult.
I developed an n8n automation that collects football results from approved sports APIs, RSS feeds, and websites. The workflow normalizes team names, competitions, dates, scores, scorers, and match statistics before comparing multiple sources to identify inconsistencies. Verified data is added to a structured sports-magazine template. OpenAI generates match summaries, headlines, SEO metadata, social snippets, and longer blog articles from the approved statistics. Editors can review and approve the content before it is published on the website.
