Project description
The operations team received invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, contracts, and supporting documents through multiple email accounts and shared folders. Employees manually downloaded files, entered data into accounting software, compared invoices against purchase orders, and contacted managers whenever information was missing or inconsistent.
DocuFlow AI was built as an automated document-processing and approval workspace. Incoming files are classified, processed with OCR, and converted into structured records. Extracted values are validated against business rules and matched with purchase orders and delivery notes. High-confidence documents continue automatically to the accounting system, while exceptions are routed to the correct reviewer with the original source, highlighted mismatch, confidence score, and complete audit trail.
