Project description
Tax advisory teams repeatedly received similar questions about UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, registration, filing, invoices, deadlines, exemptions, and penalties. Customers communicated in different languages and expected quick answers through WhatsApp. Manually responding to every question was time-consuming, while an uncontrolled general-purpose chatbot could provide outdated or unsupported tax information.
I developed TaxGPT UAE as a multilingual WhatsApp assistant backed by an administrator-controlled tax knowledge base. The system automatically detects the language used by the customer and responds in the same language, including Arabic, English, Hindi, German, French, Italian, Urdu, and additional supported languages. Retrieval-augmented generation limits answers to approved documents and provides relevant references when available. The assistant maintains conversational context, requests clarification when questions are incomplete, displays appropriate disclaimers, and transfers complex or sensitive cases to a human tax professional. An analytics dashboard allows administrators to review conversations, identify unanswered questions, update documents, manage content versions, and monitor chatbot performance.
