Project description
Businesses wanted interactive AI assistants for their websites but lacked the development resources required to create knowledge retrieval, avatar presentation, voice generation, analytics, and embeddable chatbot infrastructure. Generic chatbots also failed to represent each brand accurately or answer questions using company-specific information.
As the Lead AI Engineer, Full-Stack Developer, and SaaS Architect, I built a multi-tenant platform where businesses can create, configure, test, and publish AI avatar chatbots. Users can upload documents, add text, submit website URLs, and organize information into a searchable knowledge base. Each chatbot can be configured with a selected avatar, voice, welcome message, personality, response style, language, instructions, and fallback behavior. The system uses retrieval-augmented generation to find relevant company information before generating responses. Once configured, businesses receive a lightweight JavaScript widget that can be embedded into any website. The dashboard records conversations, visitor questions, unanswered queries, engagement, usage, and chatbot performance.
