Project description
Reviewing a 100–120 page screenplay required reading the complete document and manually recording what happened on every page. The reviewer needed a quick way to determine whether the plot continued moving forward, understand what happened at important structural milestones, and compare each character’s starting position with their development at the end of the screenplay.
I developed ScriptLens AI as a screenplay-processing and narrative-analysis workspace. Users upload a PDF, and the system detects whether OCR is required before converting every page into searchable text. Each page is analyzed in sequence and summarized in one or two sentences while preserving continuity between scenes. The platform calculates the pages corresponding to 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 90% of the screenplay and generates summaries for every requested narrative range. AI agents identify characters, track appearances, relationships, motivations, conflicts, and changes, and produce a beginning-to-end character-arc report. Every generated insight links back to relevant pages for verification.
