Project description
Students could study negotiation frameworks but had limited opportunities to practise extended, realistic negotiations. Classroom role-playing required another participant and made it difficult to provide every student with consistent, detailed, and immediate feedback.
I developed NegotiateAI as an adaptive negotiation simulator. Students select a scenario, difficulty level, role, objective, and available information before entering a detailed conversation with an AI counterpart. The bot maintains its own interests, constraints, alternatives, personality, and negotiation strategy. After the session, the platform analyzes the complete conversation and generates a structured report containing strengths, missed opportunities, important turning points, communication patterns, and recommendations for improvement.
